An Afternoon of Flavour and Story

Hosted by Keith and Samia Squires, this event weaves together the art of Ayurvedic cooking.  The six tastes — sweet, sour, salty, bitter, astringent and pungent — form the foundation of Ayurvedic cuisine.  When balanced, they are said to support wellbeing and vitality. Keith’s teaching makes these principles accessible, practical and deeply enjoyable.

A Special Bonus

Attendees will also receive Keith’s Spring Detox home programme, offering simple Ayurvedic ways to support digestion and renewed energy as the season changes. Ultimately, this gathering is an invitation to come together, taste and share.

Charity Support

This event supports two causes:

'Peace In Your Hands' Education Programme
A guest from the charity, Maggie Brizzie from the World Peace Flame Foundation, will share how their practical peace education programme for 8–12 year olds — now reaching over 80,000 children — is helping create more harmonious classrooms. Schools report less bullying, children forming friendships more easily, and greater emotional resilience among pupils.

The second charity is Kingsley Hall Community Centre where Mahatma Gandhi stayed for twelve weeks in 1931. The preserved room where Gandhi lived now forms an important part of children’s peace education programmes for London schools, offering young people a living connection to the values of non-violence and service.
Funds raised will contribute towards repairing the staircase leading to this historic space, ensuring it remains safely accessible for future generations.
